Smithsonian Air and Space Muesum

Bethany is not shy. We went to a talk at the Air and Space Museum on the space station. A young man informed us about all the space stations that ever existed, how far they are from Earth, and what the astronauts have to wear during a space walk.
Bethany wanted to answer every question. She had her little hand up straight with determination. Finally, she was chosen to put on the space suit. She had to put on a space diaper. They wrapped tubing around her to represent the cooling system in the suit.

She put on the jumper and some oven mitts. Actual astronaut gloves are custom made for each individuals hands, whereas, the suits come in small, medium, and large. It was a very interesting talk. Bethany really enjoyed playing with all the hands on exhibits at the museum.
